Biwaiichi Bikes open at Port of Otsu

Biwaichi Bike is a cycle station facility at the Port of Otsu that connects bicycles to Lake Biwa.Lake Biwa is the largest lake in Japan, located 15 minutes by train from Kyoto Station. Japanese cyclists call cycling around this large lake "Biwaichi".
It opened as a base facility for all those who enjoy cycling around Lake Biwa, including Biwaichi.We can help you with anything related to bicycles, from renting bicycles, troubleshooting equipment problems, bringing in repairs, and supplying supplies.

Bicycle Rental

To make your Biwaichi experience easy and enjoyable, we have a wide variety of bicycles, including cross bikes, road bikes, junior bikes, e-bikes, and folding bikes, waiting for you. All items necessary for cycling, such as bicycles and helmets, are available for rent.  

Repair and Maintenance

Cycling is always accompanied by equipment problems. Please feel free to stop by if you have any problems or need first aid during your rides, including the Biwaichi cycling tour. Please feel free to stop by if you have any problems during your rides. We also offer repair and maintenance services for city bicycles, electric bicycles for children, and other bicycles used on a daily basis. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.


In addition to items necessary for the day of cycling such as helmets, lights, and gloves, we also sell cycling clothes and new sports bike debuts. Our experienced staff will be happy to offer helpful advice to beginners.
