Questions about Biwaichi Bike
Hours of Operation and Return Hours
I want to know the hours of operation.
Our hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays during the holiday season).
About return time
Please return your items well in advance during business hours.
If you decide that you cannot make it back in time, please contact the store as soon as possible. If you return the bike after business hours, you will be charged an extension fee.

Rental includes
Rental fee includes equipment such as helmets, lights, locks, etc.
Are saddle covers available?
Saddle cover (550 yen) is available as a paid option.
About paid options
In addition, saddlebags, wheeled bags,cycle computer, and child carriers are available for rent (please inquire).
Baggage Storage
I would like to check my baggage.
We are unable to accept baggage.
Please use the coin lockers provided at the facility.
If you have large baggage such as suitcases, please contact us separately.
Biwaichi Schedule
How long does it take to get to Biwaichi?
Basically, please allow at least one night or two days, and allow plenty of time to enjoy your stay.
About Accommodation
Since there will be fewer lodgings and convenience stores in the northern lake area, we recommend that you stay in Nagahama or in Makino.
Children's Bicycles
Are children's bicycles available?
We have three children's sport bikes available in our store.
20, 22, and 24 inch sizes.
In addition to your height, we will check your hand size (whether you can hold the brake) on the day of the event.
Insurance
Bicycle Insurance
Bicycles are insured against bodily injury and property damage, but not against self-inflicted damage.
Please use your own insurance to cover injuries, etc.
Bicycle collection will incur additional costs.
Return on the way
Are there any other places besides Biwaichi Bike where I can return the bike en route?
Locations that can accept returns en route are currently under consideration.
Can I drop off my bicycle at a station or support station?
Basically, please return the bike to Biwaichi Bike.
If not returnable, additional transportation fee will be charged.
I want to know the cost of transporting the bicycle when they are returned en route.
The basic fee is 3,300 yen for 10km, and 1,650 yen will be added for every 10km after that.
What are the costs of returning bicycles en route (transport costs) when several bicycles are rented?
The fee will be charged for the number of units used. (In the case of multiple units, the second and subsequent units will be charged at half price.)

Adaptive height for bicycles
The reference height is shown in the "Select Bike Type" on the reservation screen.
*"Select Bike Type" will be displayed after "Select date > Select plan".
I want to change the size of my bicycle.
Size can be changed on the day if available.
How to choose your bike size
The size of the bike is within the range of possible heights, and larger bikes are easier to handle.
Changing rooms
Are changing rooms available?
Changing rooms are available in the store.
Please use it to prepare before departure and change your clothes for your return.
I would like to use the shower.
Shower rooms are not provided.
Please use a public bathhouse near you.
Restroom
Is there a restroom available?
Restrooms are available on the premises.
Rest rooms and vending machines are also available.
