Please return your items well in advance during business hours.
If you decide that you cannot make it back in time, please contact the store as soon as possible. If you return the bike after business hours, you will be charged an extension fee.

Rental fee includes equipment such as helmets, lights, locks, etc.

We offer the following items for rent at our store.

1. Free options (available to all customers or items attached to the bicycle)

• Bottle cage
• Front light (rechargeable)
• Wire lock

2. Free long-stay options (one item is provided to groups who book for consecutive nights)

• Repair kit (small saddle bag with tire lever, pump, and tube inside)

3. Free options: items that require prior reservation

• Bike bag (only for cross-bike customers, and only for those who can prepare the bike bag themselves)

4. Paid options: items that can be reserved on the day

• Saddle cover (¥880-)
• Gloves (¥440-)

5. Paid options: items that require prior reservation (limited quantity available)

• Cross-bike carrier installation (without pannier bag): (¥2,500-)
• Handlebar bag: (¥220-)
• Backpack: (¥880-)
• SPD-SL pedals or SPD pedals: (¥2,200-)

We are unable to accept baggage.
Please use the coin lockers provided at the facility.
If you have large baggage such as suitcases, please contact us separately.

Basically, please allow at least one night or two days, and allow plenty of time to enjoy your stay.

Since there will be fewer lodgings and convenience stores in the northern lake area, we recommend that you stay in Nagahama or in Makino.

We have three children's sport bikes available in our store.
20, 22, and 24 inch sizes.
In addition to your height, we will check your hand size (whether you can hold the brake) on the day of the event.

We offer electric city cycles with child seats mounted either in the front or both front and rear. We also have child trailers that can be towed with cross bikes or e-bikes. The towed child trailer can accommodate up to two children (total weight of 45kg).

Bicycles are insured against bodily injury and property damage, but not against self-inflicted damage.
Please use your own insurance to cover injuries, etc.
Bicycle collection will incur additional costs.

Basically, please return the bike to Biwaichi Bike.
If not returnable, additional transportation fee will be charged.

You will need to handle it yourself. You can either bring the bicycle to the bike shop or replace the tube yourself. If you wish to borrow a spare tube or the necessary tools for replacement, please inform us at the time of departure. (A fee will be charged upon return if you use the tube.)

In case the bicycle cannot be ridden due to a malfunction, the basic charge is 4,400 yen for 10 km, with an additional 2,200 yen for every subsequent 10 km. On the day of the issue, we cannot provide collection or customer transportation services.

The reference height is shown in the "Select Bike Type" on the reservation screen.

Size can be changed on the day if available.

The size of the bike is within the range of possible heights, and larger bikes are easier to handle.

Changing rooms are available in the store.
Please use it to prepare before departure and change your clothes for your return.

Shower rooms are not provided.
Please use a public bathhouse near you.

Restrooms are available on the premises.
Rest rooms and vending machines are also available.
